AZBox Premium HD+ User Manual High Definition Digital Satellite Receiver. Route power supply cords so that they are not likely to be walked on.
Registered: Posts: 225 Posted Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone here knows what the problems were with the AZBox power supplies that was causing them to burn out. I have rebuilt my Pansat9200HD power supply and was hoping I might be able to to the same with the AZBox Premium HD + external. With a little help knowing what to look for and change out I,m sure I could make them work again. I already have replacements that Rick sent out to me as soon as I let him know, but would like to rebuild these if I can to have them as backup. Once again I would like to thank Rick for the great service he has provided me.

Registered: Posts: 225 Posted I have not had a chance to use this info, but thought I would pass it on for others to use. I am going to be ordering up the parts and see if I can get this done on 2 of the bad supplies I have. I will let others know how I make out once I get a chance to test.
I would love to hear any feed back from others if they have found this doc already and have tried the repair. Iggy57 The rectifier bridge output is polarity sensitive. Be sure the plus and minus pins are in the correct position, the replacement could differ from the original. Could be an regulator output problem as well. __________________ The Big Dish since 1984! Good advice BillinIndy The new rectifier bridge pins were different, however I noticed that before installing and made sure to have the plus and minus pins in the correct positions. Thanks for the feed back and advice. Hope to have better luck with the other one.
